Photoshop Vector Art of justin beiber in photoshop updates

Hello guys! After so many days I come back to teach you how to make a vector art with PhotoShop. This is very simple to do, you just need to have patience because it takes a lot of time to finish and see the outstanding result. Let’s get started!
First of all, let me introduce to you the materials/tools that we’ll be using:photoshop updates
You can notice that I have many grouped layers, we’ll be grouping them because we don’t want to get confused and just in case you want to modify a single layer, it would be easier for you to find it. Remember that you need to group each part of the face, like nose, eyes, hair and clothes.
For you to get the right color/skin tone for your vector art, use the EYE DROPPER.
For shadows and lines, please play with the OPACITY, not all of the details in vector should be in 100% OPACITY.
  • You need to choose an image that you’re going to vector. It can be an image of your friend, your favorite artist, or of yourself. Just make sure that your photo has a big resolution for you to make it easier to zoom and see every single detail of the image. Find an image greater than 1024×768.

  • Duplicate the image by hitting CTRL+J with your keyboard.photoshop updates

  • Now, click the PEN TOOL, make sure SHAPE LAYERS is selected.

  • Start creating your main layer. This will cover the face and the neck. Do not forget to group your main layer and work with shadows in face, lines and etc.

  • Start working with the FACE, make a line and shadow for nose and other details that you need to work on.

Watch this video to see how I created this Vector Art.

  • Use the eye dropper to get the right color for the mouth, draw the whole mouth first, then do the lines, shadows, reflections.

  • After creating the mouth, work with the teeth. Remember, don’t just use WHITE COLOR for the entire teeth, you may need to select dirty white, yellowish color. Just use the eye dropper to get the color. Use only white when using for shining part of the teeth.

  • Now, start draw lines for eyes, zoom your image to see the details of the eyes that need to be vectored. Begin with the eye lashes, make sure you draw the eye lashes the same as the original image.

  • Next, work with the eye balls and pupils of the eyes. Zoom in to see all the colors of the eyes because it may contain 4-5 colors. Use the EYEDROPPER.

  • Work with the shadows, lines and eye brows.

  • The most difficult part – hair. Draw a line and make sure that the entire hair is covered. Once you’re done with main layer for your hair, start creating highlight and shining part of the hair. Use the EYEDROPPER.

  • Last step is to CHANGE THE BACKGROUND.
